MILITARY TOURNIQUET
EMERGENCY BLEEDING CONTROL
General Introduction
A military tourniquet is a special constricting device designed for emergency bleeding control.
It is made from a tenacious strapped textile provided with a self-locking clamping
and constricting buckle system enabling to control massive haemorrhage from limbs.

The military tourniquet is a unique and aggressive way of saving a life by arresting
massive haemorrhage caused by sudden loss of big volume of blood
following extensive incision, cut, stab or gunshot wounds or amputation of a limb.

Content
The military tourniquet consists of 50 mm wide reinforced base, on which one end of a wide strap
is fixed.  On the wide strap, in the middle of the base, there is a wooden tackle equipped
with plastic loops designed to fix the device into place.

The wide strap is long enough to reach another loop placed
on the other side of the base.
The strap is then fixed in to a self-locking buckle, or could be even

fastened through safety
black double buckle to make sure
that the main buckle does not loosen, in particular by a person
in a state of shock on which the tourniquet is applied.

There is a label attached on the tourniquet to note the date
and time of the action.
